Hi!

My name is Angela.  Thanks for visiting Love, Amazing Love!  This blog is devoted to demonstrating God's Love for us.

I started collecting these scriptures to encourage and strengthen myself, then I started sending them to family and friends.  Then I thought that a blog would be a better format/forum to share the scriptures and hopefully it would allow me to share the scriptures with more people.  I would Love for there to be dialogue about the scriptures and we can talk about what you get from them and what they mean to you.

There are SO many bad things going on in the world today, so it is imperative that we stop and focus on the good.  We have to focus on the positive, or we can be consumed by negativity and despair.  God does not want us to be fearful, worrisome, pessimistic or unhappy.

Jesus said "...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." - John 10:10

That means that we are supposed to enjoy life NOW.  Not when things are the way we 'think' they should be.  So, focusing on the promises of God and His Love for us will help us live the life God intends for us to have.

The word Love will always be in red because that is the focus and theme of the blog - God IS Love (1 John 4:8)!  There are so many scriptures and examples of God's Love for us in the Bible and I want to feature as many of them as possible.

• The Home page shows the latest posts.  
• The Love page has scriptures, chapters, etc that are a more in-depth look into the Love that is displayed in the Bible.  After all, the Bible has been called "The best Love letter ever written!"
• The Devotionals page has devotionals that I have recorded on YouTube and posted here on the blog. 
• This blog is full of my favorite scriptures.  But the My Favorites page will have my favorite favorite scriptures (it makes sense! It does to me anyway.)
• The Daily Scriptures page contains the scriptures that I post daily.  

I know there is more to life and God than butterflies and unicorns, but I think that if we start with a strong foundation of God's Love for us, then we can build from there and we will know who we REALLY are - who we are in God.  What the King of Kings has intended for your life.  How much El Shaddai (the Lord God Almighty) wants a relationship with you.   How El Elyon (the Most High God), the Creator of EVERYTHING Loves you and wants the best for you.  How Jehovah-Raah (the Lord My Shepherd) wants to protect you, provide for you and care for you.
