Blessed Is She Who Believed
This is one of my favorite verses. Before I started to read the Bible one day, I began to pray about some things that I felt God had said would happen, but hadn't happened yet. Once I started reading, this was the first verse that I came upon!
"Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord."
I was amazed and it just reaffirmed my trust in God. Not only did this speak to my prayer directly, but the verse used the words "she" and "her". When reading the Bible as a woman, you get so used to reading "he" and "him" - all the time. So, the fact that this verse uses feminine pronouns is amazing me!
I hope this verse speaks to you as well.

His Love Endures Forever - Psalms 136
Psalms 136 is a beautiful chapter that demonstrates God's Love for us throughout our lives; through every obstacle, circumstance, trial and joy we experience. Each verse builds on the previous verse and culminates in an extraordinarily powerful example of unconditional Love. As humans, we function primarily on conditional Love so reading and understanding this chapter can be hard to wrap your mind around. Repeatedly reading "...His Love endures forever." illustrates God's unending Love for us - something that we should mediate on. I hope this chapter impacts you the way it has me.
His Love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods.
His Love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His Love endures forever.
